My NAUI Bio
I was SCUBA certified in Neptune City, New Jersey in 1979 with two of my West Point Prep School classmates. Later that year I entered West Point and soon after joined the SCUBA Club. The club dives mostly on the east coast, but since I was from Port Angeles, Washington I did dives on the east and west coast as well as in the Bahamas and Florida Keys. I became the president of the Cadet SCUBA Club my junior year and became a member of the Cadet SCUBA Instructor group, earning my instructor rating just prior to my senior year.
I recently came out of sustaining instructor status in order to teach Boy Scouts SCUBA.
Currently, I teach Boy Scouts, Venture Scouts and Scouters aquatics. I am an Assistant Scoutmaster Aquatics for Troop 903 BSA in Broken Arrow.
