Tampa, Fla. (May 15, 2018) – The International Conference on Underwater Education (ICUE, or IQ) is excited to announce the recent release of its esteemed group of seminar speakers and 2018 event program, which is available now for free digital viewing in an interactive flipbook format.
Similar to last year, ICUE will be held in conjunction with the Scuba Show in Long Beach, California, on June 22-23 with several special events and engaging and informative seminars scheduled throughout the weekend.
Held in room Seaside 7 of the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center, ICUE will run a two-day series of seminars comprised of a list of highly anticipated key speakers who are industry innovators and leaders. While the overall ICUE theme is Dive Safety, seminar topics are wide-ranging.
The conference’s primary purpose is to create a forum for dive professionals and experts to present the latest advances in dive education, safety, medicine, equipment, and more, thereby creating a platform for discussion among industry stakeholders. The ICUE is open to anyone with an interest in diver education, regardless of their certification level or affiliation. Seminars will vary in complexity, from highly technical to general information useful to all divers.
Entry into ICUE seminars is included with the purchase of a Scuba Show Seminar Pass. For a limited time only, discounted day and weekend packages are available online at https://scubashow.com/attendees/tickets/.
With a Scuba Show Seminar Pass, individuals can place silent auction bids at NAUI booth 503, and periodically in the ICUE seminar room (Seaside 7), for a 7-day dive vacation with Scandi Divers in Puerto Galera, Philippines.
In addition, ICUE seminar attendees are granted special access to participate in the silent auctions for a 7-night Philippines dive vacation at either Atlantis Puerto Galera or Atlantis Dumaguete, as well as certificates for (1) men’s and (1) women’s Henderson Thermoprene Pro Shorty wetsuits.
Silent auction and door prize items have been generously provided by ICUE Associate Sponsors Scandi Divers, Henderson Divewear and Atlantis Dive Resorts & Liveaboards.
In addition to this unique selection of conference speakers and promotions, NAUI is hosting a dinner reception beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 22 at Nelson’s Restaurant, overlooking the Pacific coast in Rancho Palos Verdes, with special guests Zale Parry and Lucinda Bridges, daughter of Lloyd Bridges, who will share stories celebrating the 60th anniversary of Sea Hunt.
